The real estate market in Wisconsin continues to be very busy.  The objective is to sell your home for the maximum price possible based on comparable prices in your neighborhood.  If/When you consider selling your home, you may want to make an effort to make some repairs or improvements to increase the value of your home.  

If you are considering selling your home, the following are some suggestions on what buyers may be looking for.  

Storage Space 

As a home owner, I find myself often saying that I wish I had more storage space.  Most of my family and friends say the same thing.  Find ways to add additional storage to your home or busince because this will make it more appealing to prospective buyers.  Some examples include adding shelving in rooms, finish the area/space under the stairs or install a closet system to store more items.  

Remember to Be "Health Conscience"

Due to the pandemic, many people are now trying to complete workouts at home.  If there is any way to add an in-home gym or a designated area for exercise equipment, be sure to add it. 

Security To The Home or Building

Security is important wherever you are living.  Your stuff is important to you, and you want to keep it.  But remember that security is also important to the seller as well.  Curb appeal is also important and one item that gets most attention is the garage door.  Consider upgrading your garage door as it makes your building look more modern and it provides adding security.  You may also want to consider adding an alarm system if one is not already present.  Anything that improves the security of your home or building is always important and will help with the sale of the property.
