Sewage Backup in a Basement of a Group Home

This local group home in Jefferson County, Wisconsin unfortunately experienced a sewage back-up into their basement. This was caused by a blocked pipe going to the street. In order for this to be fixed, the plumber required that SERVPRO of Southwest Waukesha remove the sewage and disinfect so that they can snake the pipe in order to remove the blockage.

SERVPRO was onsite by 8 a.m. and had called the plumber by 9:40 a.m. to request that they come out to remove that blockage.

In the "before" photo you can see the large amount of water that had backed up into this basement. Once SERVPRO arrived and put together an appropriate action plan, the water was extracted, the floor was then cleaned and disinfected so that it was safe for occupancy once again.
