SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County Responds to Emergency Water Loss in Columbia County

SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County is an emergency fire and water damage restoration company.  However, do not get caught up on the name of Waukesha County.  We will also respond to emergency situations in other counties as well, sometimes farther away.

This flooded basement in Fall River, Wisconsin is located in Colombia County, which is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes away from our primary location.  These customers needed our help and we were there for them.  This water damage was caused by a broken pipe on the first floor that affected multiple rooms on the main level and a finished room in the basement.  Our customer was very happy that we were willing to travel this distance to help them because they could not find any other restoration company willing to help them.

For this particular situation, the homeowner tried to remove all the water prior to SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County arriving. Upon the arrival of the certified water technicians from SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County, our moisture meters detected more water that the homeowner did not see with the naked eye. As a result, SERVPRO removed the rest of the flooring and found water and black growth under the boards.
