Mold Like This Will Cause Health Effects

SERVPRO of SW Waukesha County was recently called to a property with concerns of mold.  Upon arrival and after the scope, it was determined that a fair amount of mold was discovered under 3 windows in 3 different bedrooms.  The major concern for this family was that their youngest daughter has a rare heart condition that does not interact well with mold.

After assessing all the rooms and developing an action plan, all the affected rooms were sealed up with plastic, the contaminated drywall and insulation was removed and air scrubbers used to clean and decontaminate the air.  In this photo, you will see the amount of growth that was discovered on the drywall in the bedroom.
